My child already goes for tuition. Why would they need KLARA?

Tuition gives your child guided sessions a few times a week. But what happens when tuition homework comes home and you can't explain it? KLARA fills that gap. It's there every day, it explains bar models step by step, and it lets your child practise independently between tuition sessions. Many parents use KLARA alongside tuition, not instead of it.

I don't understand bar models myself. How does this help?

That's exactly why KLARA exists. The bar model method (part-whole, comparison, before-and-after) wasn't taught when we were in school. KLARA draws the bar model automatically for every word problem, so your child sees the visual breakdown without needing you to explain it. You don't need to know bar models. KLARA handles that.

Will my child actually use it, or give up after two days?

KLARA is designed so kids can start independently: pick a topic, get a question, see hints if stuck, and get the solution after answering. There's no setup, no confusing menus. The streak system keeps them coming back daily. The best results come when parents check in with the progress dashboard, even just once a week, so your child knows you're watching.

Is $20/month worth it vs just buying assessment books?

An assessment book costs $8–12 and has fixed questions with no explanations. KLARA generates unlimited fresh questions at your child's exact level, gives hints, shows bar models, explains every solution, and tracks which topics need more work. It's closer to a tutor than a workbook, at a fraction of tuition cost.

How is KLARA different from other apps like SgExamGuru or KooBits?

Most apps give you a bank of fixed questions. KLARA uses AI to generate fresh word problems every session at your child's difficulty level (Foundation, Standard, or Challenging) and adapts as they improve. The bar model visualisation is unique: it draws the MOE model method automatically, which is the key technique taught in Singapore classrooms that most apps skip entirely.

Which levels and topics does KLARA cover?

KLARA covers Primary 3 to Primary 6, fully aligned to the MOE syllabus. This includes Whole Numbers, Fractions, Decimals, Percentage, Ratio, Speed, Area & Perimeter, Volume, and more. For exam practice, there are 50+ past year papers from top schools including Nanyang, Raffles Girls, ACS, Henry Park, and others.

How do the first 7 days work?

S$4.99 is charged today for your first 7 days of full access: AI practice, bar models, past year papers and the parent dashboard. After 7 days KLARA renews at S$20/month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings under Manage billing and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

About KLARA

KLARA is an AI math tutor built specifically for Singapore Primary 3 to Primary 6 students. KLARA generates fresh word problems adapted to each child's level, draws bar models automatically for every question, and gives step-by-step solutions. Kids can practise independently and parents can track progress without sitting through every session.
